Important Information Before Applying
Applicant Status: Applicants must be employers carrying on business activities in Hong Kong and must submit applications as sole proprietors, partnerships, limited companies or corporate bodies according to the type of business they carry out.
Under the current labour importation scheme, employers who have obtained in-principle approval/quota for labour importation from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government must recruit Mainland residents through Mainland labour service enterprises (labour service enterprises). A labour service enterprise is an enterprise approved by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and qualified to engage in labour cooperation in the Hong Kong SAR. A list of labour service enterprises is available on the Ministry of Commerce’s website. The
table below lists the contact information of licensed employment agencies (if any) operating in Hong Kong through labour service enterprises or their affiliates that arrange for Mainland workers to work in Hong Kong. Please note that the information in this list is for general reference only. All employment agencies operating in Hong Kong, regardless of their business model or the types of positions they place (including imported labour), must be licensed and regulated by the Labour Department.
